2017 Prize-giving

Week 9, Term 4


Tomorrow, Monday 11th December family and friends are invited to come and watch the children sing Christmas carols and songs on the field. 


This starts at 11:15am.

Room 14 & 15 will be singing together.

In preparation for this children will need to bring to school in a named plastic bag:

- Black t-shirt and black bottoms (pants, skirt, shorts etc.)
- Santa hat
- Tinsel

If you have any spare tinsel at home that we can use - please pass onto Miss Brolly.



Some reminders for this week:
  • school magazines are available for $5. 
  • All  books, sports uniforms and gear need to be returned this week.
  • Prizegiving Tuesday 9.00am
  • Missioning of our Year 6’s on Friday at 11.00am
  • School finishes at Noon on Friday
  • Schools starts for Term 2018: Wednesday 7th February.

Kahikatea Poetry/Scripture Recital Finals

Today, we had our finals for the poetry/scripture recital. Neela and Laris were Room 14's finalists and the spoke beautifully. We were so proud of them!














Room 14 & 15's End of Year Picnic

Thank you to everyone that brought food to our picnic yesterday. We had lots of fun in the sun with our water guns and then enjoyed a Christmas movie in the afternoon. Here are some photos of the fun that we had:

Please note that children can start bringing these in already and leave their plastic bags in class.

Middle School Picnic

Remember that tomorrow (Wednesday) is the middle school picnic. That means:

  • Year 3 & 4 can wear mufti.
  • Children need to bring a plate of food to share.
  • Children can bring their togs and a water gun (if they have one).
